About the AUIB Libraries

The AUIB Libraries are home to a wide array of educational and research collections, including general collection, law collection, and a medical collection. The print collections consist of more than 8,000 books and reference titles focusing on the disciplines taught at the Colleges of Arts & Sciences, Business, Law, International Studies, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Health Care Technology, Education, and Engineering. In addition to print books, the libraries provide access to a variety of e-books, e-videos, e-journals, e-theses, and dissertations. Moreover, the Libraries provide access to many comprehensive and specialized subscribed and open access databases. The libraries select their collections carefully and benchmark with other university libraries with similar interests in terms of teaching, and research resources and services. The AUIB libraries continuously evaluate their collections, including print and digital versions, to ensure they are up-to-date and that they match the latest research interests and the latest publications in any field of study in which the university offers degree programs. The university libraries staff is comprised of international experts, national staff, and occasionally student employees, all of whom are highly knowledgeable and able to assist the users through in-person or online interactions.
